Reviews briefly the philosophy of testing. Lists criteria that should be included in measuring properties of materials. Discusses in detail standard and nonstandard tests on glass reinforced plastics. Tabular data list these tests with recommendations for research and development materials comparison or for design use. Also discusses limitations of these tests and stresses importance of analysis and reporting of data obtained by testing.
