This report covers a storage test conducted under the combined auspices of Frankford Arsenal and this Installation. The procedure or testing method, in parts, was extracted from the reference report. The object of the test was to determine the effects of elevated temperatures and extreme humidity conditions on the mechanical and dimensional stability of various types of obturator band materials employed with 81mm Mortar Cartridges.
