摘要

The report describes the investigation of parametric resonances and the use of resulting resonances for measuring magnetic fields. This work includes investigation of the 2triplet S(1) level of helium 4by parametric resonances and establishes the feasibility of constructing a vector magnetometer using the parametric resonance n = 1. A device of this type was demonstrated to have a peak-to-peak noise level of 1.0 x 10to the minus 7th power G in a 5.0Hz noise bandwidth when used to monitor a component of the geomagnetic field.
