Air Density at Heights near 200km from the Orbit of 1970-65D.

Cosmos 359rocket, 1970-65D,entered orbit on 22August 1970,with an initial perigee height of 209km and inclination 51.2degrees,and decayed on 6October 1971. Accurate orbits have been computed at RAE from all available observations,orbits being determined at 42 epochs from 2600observations. Using the values of perigee height from the RAE orbits and decay rates from USAF Spacetrack bulletins, 146values of air density have been calculated between August 1970and September 1971,mainly at heights between 180and 230km.
