Chlorine, Bromine and Iodine Ion Collisional Electron Detachment Rate Measurements.

摘要

Collisional electron detachment measurements were made for Cl(-), Br(-), and I(-) with Ar and with N2 over the temperature range 3500 to 5500K. The resulting rate constants can be represented by Archemics-type expressions in which the activation energy is taken as the known electron affinity and the pre-exponentials vary over the range 10 to the -11th power to 1.3 x 10 to the -10th power cc/sec depending on both the ion and the collision partner.
