The total study area includes Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington Counties in Nebraska, and Harrison, Mills, and Pottawattamie Counties in Iowa. The Regional Water Supply Study examined current and future water needs, the quality and quantity of water available to meet these needs, and methods of reducing water consumption. Water supply plans were developed to meet the needs and were tested for sensitivity to future uncertainties with regard to urban growth. (Author)
