摘要

The general purpose of the project was to use solid state sensors in the development of a false color camera compatible to packaging and interface constraints of the Aequare RPV. The first task was to develop a Charge Injection Device in a 244 x 248 (vertical x horizontal) array configuration. This device, in turn, was used as the sensor for a three sensor false color camera which was designed and constructed compatible to the Aequare configuration. Finally, since a significant aspect of the Charge Injection Device, is its potential for random access, a study was done to predict performance parameters for the case of a randomly accessible device. All tasks have been completed with deliverable hardware being represented by the Color Camera and a Color Monitor. The random access study emphasized operational timing constraints and was conducted by considering an actual layout for a 128 x 128 array with projections to a 256 x 256 array.
