High-resolution spectra data obtained in the vicinity of H-alpha have been obtained for a number of dMe stars. Centrally reversed H-alpha mission profiles appear to be a general feature of dMe spectra. Possible mechanisms related to solar phenomena are discussed for forming this type of profile. (Author)
