摘要

The designer of nuclear fusion devices must consider the problem of induced activation of system components resulting from irradiation by the generated neutron flux. Requirements for maintenance and repair, as well as for storage of exposed equipment, can be directly affected by the levels of activity induced and by the radio active decay characteristics of the constituent elements. Since the activation cross sections and decay properties of these elements have been tabulated, the induced activity of different structural materials can be computed and analyzed.
