Goodness of Fit Tests with Special Reference to Tests for Exponentiality.

摘要

A general review is given of recent advances in goodness-of-fit, and some principles are stated which it is desirable that a goodness-of-fit test should follow. The second part of the paper deals with a list of proposed tests for the exponential distribution, and some of the ways in which they are interconnected are demonstrated. The power of the tests is examined by Monte Carlo studies and two tables are given. (Author)
