Study to Determine the Correlation between Continuity of Care and Patient Medication Compliance.

摘要

This study examined medication noncompliance patterns to determine a relationship between continuity of care and compliance. This study found a ten percent noncompliance rate among the patients researched. The author found the noncompliance rate to be very favorable compared to the range reported in the literature. The author also found a significant difference between those patients given a continuity of care through a family practice clinic versus a general outpatient clinic.
