Determinants of Job Satisfaction: A Multidisciplinary, Multivariate Analysis of the U.S. Army

This report analyzes the effect of economic, psychological, and sociological variables on job satisfaction in the Army and Reserve/National Guard units. It uses data from the Army Experience Survey, 1985. The results reveal that variables from all of the three disciplines play a role in determining job satisfaction in the Army and the Reserve/National Guard units.
