摘要

Perchloroethylene (PCE) is a chemical of relevance to the Air Force InstallationRestoration Program (IRP) efforts. Pharmacokinetics of PCE and available PCE PBPK were reviewed and a preliminary risk assessment was prepared. Physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models developed for PCE were used to examine the behavior of PCE in mice and humans. Uncertainty analysis was applied to the PBPK models used in the risk assessment study. Tetrachloroethylene (PERC) is a commercially important chemical used as solvents. PERC is also a frequent contaminant of drinking water supplies.
