摘要

Miscanthus is a perennial species utilized for biomass production that is propagated vegetatively by rhizomes. To verify if this underground organs can represent a source of infestation for the following crops a research was carried out with two preceding, maize-wheat rotation vs. miscanthus of four year age, on four summer crops in the first year (sunflower, maize, soybean, and biomass sorghum) and cereal crop in the second (wheat). Miscanthus presented a high ability to infest all crops tested, on which caused a yield reduction, in a range from 40 percent in the sorghum to 90 percent in the soybean.
