DUO cleans up: DUO has supplied the first Gennaretti Centrifuge System to Ellel Recycling Ltd for process operations at its Ellel Crag Quarry

Ellel Crag Quarry has become the first recipient of a Gennaretti Centrifuge system. Supplied by DUO Equipment of Coventry through its UK dealership the Gennaretti GHT 503 variable centrifuge processes up to 15tph of dry silt and is part of a complete turnkey operation which includes a full washing and water management plant supplied by DUO to Ellel Recycling Ltd for process operations at their Ellel Crag Quarry. Situated approximately 7km south of Lancaster, Ellel Crag Quarry has a long history of sandstone and shale extraction dating back to the 1940s. Installation of the new plant is providing Ellel Recycling with the ability to supply clean washed materials to the local construction materials market which will be used for asphalt and concrete production as well as for sub-base, capping and drainage materials.
