Dammam 7 Signs with Aker Solutions For Acrylic Acid/Acrylates Facility

Jubail-Dammam 7 Petrochemical Co. has signed a program management agreement with Aker Solutions for the acrylic acid and acrylates production complex to be built in Jubail, Saudi Arabia (PCN, 15 Jan 07, p 1). Aker Solutions said it will provide pre-front-end engineering and design and program management services for the complex, which will be designed to produce 200,000 t/y of acrylic acid and acrylates and 100,000 t/y of butanol.
