GE Licenses Gasification Technology For Chinese Coal-to-Chem Facility

Tongzi-GE Energy said its gasification technology has been selected by Guizhou Jinchi Chemical Co. for a coal-to-chemical project to be set up in Tongzi County, Guizhou Province, China. Guizhou Jinchi will use the technology to produce syngas, which will be used as feedstock for the production of chemicals at the Tongzi site, said GE. No details on the chemical production were given.
