Indonesia's PKT Securing Financing For 1.2-MM-T/Y Fertilizer Project

Jakarta-PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (PKT) has retained Bank Mandiri as the lead arranger in securing syndicated loans of about $490-million to be used in construction of a 1.2-million-t/y urea complex in Indonesia. The project, identified as the Kaltim-5 unit, has an estimated cost of about $865-million. PKT's cash reserves will fund about 30% of the project's cost.
