Ineos ChlorVinyls Agrees to Sell Packed Chlorine Assets to BOC

London-Ineos ChlorVinyls has reached an agreement to sell its packed chlorine business to BOC, recently acquired by the Linde Group (PCN, 11 Sept 06, p 2). The sale, for which cost was not disclosed, includes Ineos' packed chlorine production units at Runcorn, UK, along with the associated commercial good will of the company, Ineos said. The acquisition is expected to be complete once necessary approvals have been obtained.
