PetroChina Selects Shaw Technology For New Paging Ethylene Facility

Paging-PetroChina has awarded a contract to the Shaw Group to provide its furnace technology for a new 600,000-t/y ethylene plant to be built in Daqing, China (PCN, 3 Mar 08, p 3). Shaw will also provide basic engineering, procurement of key equipment and materials, technical training, commissioning and start-up services. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
