摘要

A field experiment was conducted during rabi seasons of 2005-06 and 2006-07 at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Anakapalle with an objective to evaluate integrated pest management practices against bhendi shoot and fruit borer, Earias vitella Fabricius using Arka Anamika variety. The results indicated that sorghum as border crop + Seed treatment with Imidacloprid @ 5 gin/Kg seed + Spray of NSKE 5% alternated with Neemoil @ 5% recorded less incidence of shoot borer (1.05%) and fruit borer ( 16.40%) and more fruit yield (43.50 q/ha) as compared to untreated control which registered 13.40 and 52.40% incidence of shoot and fruit borer respectively with a fruit yield of 30.50 q/ha.
