Advantage of oxyfluorfen + glyphosate over solo application of glyphosate for the effective control of tea weed flora

The tank mix combination of Oxyfluorfen and Glyphosate was found very much effective and safe for both young and matured Tea. The combination found to catalyse each other efficacy as compared to the solo application of Glyphosate. The most effectivedose was observed as 1.5 lit. of Glyphosate + 0.75 lit. of Oxyfluorfen followed by 1.87 lit of Glyphosate + 0.62 lit of Oxyfluorfen per hac. In North Bengal condition and 2.5 lit. of Glyphosate + 0.5 lit. of Oxyfluorfen was noticed as the best treatmentfollowed by 1.87 lit of Glyphosate + 0.62 lit of Oxyfluorfen per hac. in South India.
