Companies from the Pharmaceutical Industry Association of South Africa (PIASA) and the Innovative Medicines South Africa (IMSA) are now unified under one banner, the Innovative Pharmaceutical Association South Africa (IPASA). Launched on 2 April, the new association's mandate is to empower research and development-based pharmaceutical corporations.
