Bovanenkovskoye plans approved

Gazprom is reported to have approved the development programme for the giant Bovanenkovskoye field on the Yamal Peninsula.Proven field reserves are put at 3.27tn cm,or some 20% of Gazprom's total proved reserves.Commenting on the news,market analyst UFG stated that this latest announcement'reduces the risk that Gazprom's gas production will drop to the extent that a major gas deficit arises on the domestic market'.
