BASF urges preventive fungicides to increase yields

Corn and soybean growers are "leaving profit on the table" by not using preventive fungicides, BASF says in a Jan. 25 news release, citing a company survey finding that more than half of farmers decide whether to apply fungicides during the season, when damage may have already occurred.
