Total is considering a possible pipeline route that would allow it to export future crude production from Lake Albert in Uganda to the Tanzanian port of Tanga. The potential route comes despite this month’s agreement between the governments of Uganda and Kenya to export Lake Albert crude to Kenya’s deepwater port of Lamu.
