Argentina province plans shale round

Argentina’s southern province of Neuquen plans to launch an international tender for upstream licences in the Vaca Muerta shale formation in March 2014. Neuquen holds technically recoverable resources of 308 trillion ft3 (8.6 trillion m~3) of gas and 16bn bl of oil and condensate, according to US EIA estimates.
