Health and Hygiene in Pools: A snapshot of a conference by the Royal Society for Public Health

In November, the Royal Society for Public Health ran a very successful two-day conference examining the topic of Health and Hygiene in Pools from all angles. Two days is a healthy amount of time to devote to the specialist subject of swimming pools, so there was time to look into previously under-scrutinised corners. But the main focus was on the threats to health and on remedies - both regulatory and practical. The comprehensive programme was put together and chaired by Dr John Lee and Dr Susanne Lee, international experts in water pathogen microbiology.
