摘要

The human bocavirus was identified in 2005 by the Swedish group of Tobias Allander and coworkers at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. This group found a so far unknown virus in nasopharyngeal swabs and washings of patients suffering from acute respiratory disease of unknown etiology but characteristic for a viral respiratory tract infection. Based on phylogenetic analyses human bocavirus was grouped in the genus of parvoviridae, family parvovirinae and is related to human parvovirus B19 but more closely related to the bovine parvovirus and the canine parvovirus, the latter both being the eponyms for human bocavirus.
