"Due to the mounting prevalence of ever-more stringent environmental rules and regulations, as well as the high costs and ethical factors relating to the construction industry, more companies are becoming increasingly concerned with sustainability and ways to make their practices 'greener'. As a finish, hot-dip galvanising is not only highly effective, but is also extremely eco-friendly, with significant steps having been taken by the industry over the past few years to further reduce its environmental impact. We in particular, have introduced a number of highly-innovative and sophisticated processes to help reduce waste, promote better use of available resources, and improve energy efficiency, including the establishment of bespoke rainwater collection and harvesting systems at a number of our sites across the UK.
