TWO Japanese companies, Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. and Itoh Oil Chemical Co., Ltd are to form a joint venture with India's Jayant Agro-Organics Ltd. for the establishment of a Company in India to produce bio-based polyols, from castor oil. An agreement to this effect was signed on August 29, 2013 by Mr. Toshikazu Tanaka, President & CEO, Mitsui Chemicals. Mr. Masatuga Akita, President, Itoh Oil Chemical Co. representing the two Japanese companies - and Mr. Abhay V. Udeshi, Chairman, Jayant Agro-Organics.
