BASF India Limited appoints Dr. Raman Ramachandran as Chairman & Managing Director

AT their meeting held today, the Board of Directors of BASF India Limited appointed Dr. Raman Ramachandran as the new Chairman & Managing Director with effect from October 1, 2013, subject to the approval of the Central Government and the shareholders. He succeeds Mr. Prasad Chandran, who relinquished the position with effect from September 30, 2013. He will continue as an advisor to the company until March 31,2014. The Board placed on record its appreciation for 17 years of distinguished service of Mr. Chandran, including 13 years as the Chairman and Managing Director.
