Fragrance industry to cross Rs 10,000 crore in next 3 years

THE Indian Fragrance Industry, which is growing at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40 per cent, is likely to reach a figure of Rs 10000 crore by the year 2015. According to a study released by the industry body, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) titled 'Domestic Fragrance Industry: The way ahead', the industry is currently poised at around Rs 3700 crores.
