New high-speed bar and rod mill for Thai Nguyen

Project activity is going on for the new 300000-t/a high-speed bar and wire rod mill being supplied to Thai Nguyen Iron & Steel Co (part of VSC-Vietnam Steel Corporation Group). The order has been awarded to Danieli Morgardsham mar. The new mill will produce 10 to 36-mm-diameter bars and 5.5 to 12-mm wire rod in coils. The plant will feature a 10-pass Delta type twist-free block for high-speed finishing of wire rod and small size bars.
