Seasons set: State fishery managers in the Pacific Northwest set spring fishing seasons on the Columbia River at the end of January.The recreational season below Bonneville Dam was set to begin March 1 and run through April 9.As of Feb. 6, gillnetters had two fishing days, tentatively scheduled for March 29 and April 5. Mainstream nontribal commercial fisheries have an initial allocation of 1,222 fish below Bonneville Dam, while select area commercial fisheries have 198 and recreational fishermen have 7,515.
