Aarti Industries net rises to Rs. 37 cr

Chemicals company Aarti Industries reported a net profit of Rs. 36.97 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013.The company had reported a net profit of Rs. 21.82 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.Total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs. 649.64 crore as against Rs. 459.36 crore in the year—ago period.The company has declared the second interim dividend of 25 per cent at Rs. 1.25 per share (on the face value of Rs. 5 each). For the nine months period ended December 31,2013, the company's total income stood at Rs. 1,888.63 crore, operating profit at Rs. 289.90 crore, net profit at Rs. 101.85 crore and the EPS at Rs. 11.50.
