Data centre managers increasingly cite energy costs as their fastest growing expense - in some cases, even outstripping the cost of the computing horsepower that drives the facility. With costs continuing to spiral, the optimisation of a data centre's infrastructure is under the spotlight like never before. For those responsible for managing the facility, it is critical to take control of energy usage in order to guarantee efficiency and availability - today and tomorrow - whilst being mindful of both the organisation and its environment.
