New insights into melanin concentrating hormone and sleep: A critical topics forum

摘要

The critical topics forum in this issue of SLEEP focuses on the role of melanin concentrating hormone (MCH) in sleep regulation. I thank Editor-in-Chief David Dinges for the invitation to serve as associate editor for this forum and all of the contributing authors for their insightful overviews on the current state of knowledge of how MCH neurons participate in the regulation of sleep states.
