C&W Networks selects Xtera for upgrade of submarine systems in western Atlantic and Caribbean

Xtera Communications announced that C&W Networks, part of Cable & Wireless Communications, a major service provider serving the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, South America and U.S. markets over more than 48,000 miles of subsea optical network, has selected its technology for the upgrade to 100 Gbps of submarine cable systems in the western Atlantic ocean and the Caribbean.
