Siempelkamp Receives Order for the Heaviest Forging Press, Repeats World Record

Siempelkamp received the order for a 125 MN closed-die forging press from Dalian Shijie Aviation Forging Co Ltd., located in Dalian in the Chinese province of Liaoning. With the casting of the heaviest component for this press, the bottom bolster, Siempelkamp repeats its world record from 2013. With the new press, Dalian Shijie will manufacture components made of titanium and nickel-based alloys for engines as well as parts made of aluminum for the aircraft industry.
