Darticipants at the 2009 Farmers for the Future Conference ventured from 13 states in pursuit of a dream. They knew that before this dream would be a reality, they must maneuver a challenging terrain, including family dynamics, profitable growth, land, financing, and succession. "We've got to change the farm family business model," Don Jonovic, Family Business Management Services, Cleveland, Ohio, told the 150 farmers at the conference in St. Louis, Missouri, sponsored by Successful Farming magazine, Agriculture Online, and DEKALB.
