摘要

For the design of composite structures in general and more specific for wind turbine rotor blades, mechanical material properties of the composites are usually obtained through experiments, following appropriate standards. However, the available standards do not provide an indication of the measurement uncertainty obtained through application of the experimental method. On the other hand, this information is of high importance if comparisons are to be conducted or the effect of a parameter whether environmental or other on a material property is to be sought. Therefore, in this work the estimation of the measurement uncertainty is presented for the basic material parameters extracted through these tests, namely the strength, the elasticity modulus and the Poisson's ratio.
