摘要

Complete primary recrystallization of a large-grain structure in a plated cobalt-based austenitic layer, yielding a grain size of 9-10, is achieved by hot deformation (1000-1100 deg C, SIGMA_(epsilon) = 50 percent) and subsequent normalization at 1200 deg C with 1-hr holding and subsequent cooling in air. HTMT conditions yielding a grain size of 9-11 in the plated layer have been proposed. In combination with high tempering, this increases the structural strength of 38KhN3MFA steel, without loss of plasticity.
