There was much for Hankook Tire America Corp. to celebrate during its annual dealer meeting at the Riviera Nayarit in Mexico in late January. The company had just posted record unit sales of 12.6 million tires in the United States and Canada in 2010. Total sales also were a record -slightly more than $1 billion, a 21% increase over 2009.
