As founder of Buesing Corp., Jerry Bussing has seen his company through many challenges, and recognizes the value of his employees in facing those challenges. "The major ingredient in our business, in really any business, is the people," said Buesing, the company's president. "Without good people, you wouldn't succeed at all." Since starting his company in 1965, Buesing's challenges have included finding good employees when unemployment is low and keeping up with costs as they relate to bidding projects. To locate employees, the company takes advantage of advertising, employment agencies and employee word-of-mouth. To successfully bid projects, he encourages the Buesing Managers to purchase the best product for the lowest cost.
