A new federal administration Offers hope for America's aging infrastructure. State and local agencies across the country, as well as construction industry associations and unions, are hoping that President Obama's proposed stimulus package will be catalyst in bringing a good deal of highly sought-after infrastruc-ture rehabilitation jobs to their region. Obama has said he aims to save or create 2.5 million jobs in the next two years by putting Americans back to work rebuild-ing the nation's aging infrastructure and making the country more competitive. Construction officials in all regions are listening.
