In Kevin Costner's 1994 film Wyatt Earp, Gene Hackman, playing the legendary lawman's father, advised his many children, "Nothing counts so much as blood. The rest are just strangers." For Carl Randy Martin and his wife Becky, owners of CR&B Logging,those fictional words ring true. "Everybody in logging knows this, but it's a family business that's gonna stay in business," Martin says. "If you don't have family working with you, it's hard to make it. It's hard to find strangers you can count on, and the first time they scratch their finger, you've got a lawsuit on your hands."
