2012 Cave Technology Symposium

Launched as a complementary event to the successful Cave Science Symposium, the BCRA Cave Technology Symposium, now in its sixth year, was held in Priddy, Mendip, over the weekend of 9-10 June 2012. In a change from the previous format, in recognition of the essentially practical nature of cave technology projects, provision was made for demonstrations in addition to the more formal talks. As such, the Saturday was occupied with underground work in Swildon's Hole and a guided trip to the Templeton Dig, while talks on the Sunday were given in the Hunters' Lodge Inn.
