We have read with great interest the important new paper concerning the subgrouping of Lenke type-1 scoliotic curves through the use of ISOData cluster analysis and 3-dimensional (3D) visualization with the daVinci representation technique. The daVinci representation is a very interesting technique and appears to be an outstanding method for the visualization of this 3D deformity, particularly in routine clinical practice, because it is easy to understand and simple to follow.
