Night Spraying to control White Mold

A technique used in Central America may find its way to the U.S. in order to help fight white mold. The method employs the same equipment and fungicides currently used, but sprays are applied at night when the leaves are folded and the canopy is mucheasier to penetrate. Since white mold develops at, or even below, the soil surface, this technique gets more of the fungicide where it needs to be.
